First Aid Kit FAQ

Marine first aid kits are designed for specific vessel types and operating conditions. Always check the product specifications and applicable marine regulations to ensure the kit is suitable for your vessel and area of operation.

Some marine first aid kits are supplied as non-medicated kits to allow vessel operators to source and maintain medications separately in accordance with current regulatory requirements and expiry dates.

Yes. Marine first aid kits are designed for onboard storage and quick access during an emergency. Refer to the product specifications for information on mounting options and storage requirements.

Marine first aid kits should be inspected regularly to ensure supplies remain complete, products have not expired and packaging remains in good condition. Any used, damaged or expired items should be replaced promptly.

Yes. Replacement first aid supplies can be purchased separately to help maintain kit readiness and support ongoing compliance requirements.

Consider your vessel type, the number of people onboard, the distance travelled from shore and any applicable regulatory requirements. Larger vessels and vessels travelling further offshore may require more comprehensive first aid equipment.

For generations, St John has helped Australians prepare for and respond to emergencies. Our first aid kits are developed using practical first aid expertise and contain quality supplies designed to help you respond with confidence.
